A sample of my Cyser after only 6 weeks no fining agent. I let it clear on its own. I super surprised on how good it's coming out.

Just poured a Munton's Newkie brown. Brewed with 1/2kg DME and 1/2kg Dex.
A tasty little beer.
That Cyser above^^^ is really clear!

A refreshing  ale brewed for a friend's birthday party,  has the zest of passion fruit orange and grapefruit  added  .
Coopers English bitter       coopers dark ale
Young's lager                    muntons wheat beer
aus pale ale                       sauv blanc white wine kit
canadian blonde               oaked rum ale
Mexican cerveza
youngs american  ipa
coopers heritage lager
California Connoisseur Barolo wine

Just released a IPA called a “So dirty Myrtle ipa”w blood orange extract.i asked the brewer and he was specific about using extract...not zest.   I like it better than the grapefruit sculpin from BP.  My one off brew using orange zest ( with a dry hop) was a disaster...bittering my whole batch.  Nicely he offered to give me some extract to experiment with. My newbie advice... go easy on the zest

Yes, when using zest from citrus fruits it is important to wash them well first to get rid of any pesticide and/or other chemicals if they are not organically grown, and furthermore it is important to get only the coloured part of the zest, not the white part, because the latter has heaps of bitterness in it that you don't want.
