First post :)

I have a coworker who asked if I would try brewing my own beer. I promptly found the video from the OP and was sold. This was all two weeks ago. I have the first batch (Mexican style from Brewmart) ageing on bottles now, and my second batch (Coopers IPA), which I added some Cascade pellets to along with some brown candy sugar, in the fermenter in the cellar.

Thank you, Craig!

Good for you!  Craig has definitely influenced a new generation of home brewers.  Welcome to the forum.  Please feel free to post any questions you may have and participate in all the chit-chat.  Good luck with your brews.  CheerZ

Thanks, Nexia333  :)

I'll drop a courtesy post in the introduction forum, and then I'll post what I'm about to brew tonight in the appropriate forum.

17!

PS: You need more smileys available. At least some beer-related smileys.

I was given the brewing kit for a Xmas pressy years back and it sat unused for at least a year.
My Oldest son said he followed this guy on youtube that make homebrew video's and that I should have a looksy, so I did and if it wasn't for Craig that homebrew equipment and kits would have went the way of the bad aftershave and useless gadgets (in a cupboard forgotten about)

So much so I still turn to Craig for advice and I have been brewing for at least 3 years now so a big huge hug and kisses to Craig from me

I have gone into several local home brew stores, and talked to other local home brewers.  I am always shocked to hear that many of them have not even heard or Craig, or even thought to have looked up Brew Tube videos on You Tube.  So many great videos out there and talented people who are willing to open their homes and lives to share this great hobby.  CheerZ

Craig is also the reason I am on this forum and the reason I finally gave home brewing a go, I had been thinking about it for a long time but watching his videos on the Coopers kits is what convinced me. Have learnt a lot from his videos and love watching his HBW every week. Cheers Craig, 17!  :)

I found this forum because Craig mentioned it in one of his videos.  I had attended an all grain class and for a variety of reasons decided that wasn't for me and had about decided not to get into home brewing.  Then I found Craig's videos and discovered that you could home brew from kits and extracts and still have a lot of control by adding steeping grains, hops, DME's, etc.  Big thumbs up to Craig.  I also learned a lot of helpful tips.
Wandering Troubadour (Czech Pilsner)

On deck to brew next:

Awesome stuff mate! Its amazing the type of craft styled brews that can be produced at home with only a few quality ingredients - great story, great to have you here. 17!

I found Craig's videos as I was looking for a review on the first kit I bought, a St. Peter's ruby red ale. It seems like a lifetime ago but it's only about 8 weeks! Since then every time I have a question like, " how does dry hopping work or how can I improve a kit, Craig has provided a video to explain in simple terms. I have now delved into the world of AG via the BIAB method  and bought a corny keg and again Craig has been there to show how it can be done. So cheers and 17 to craigtube. Long may it be a source of information and inspiration to many. ( And you sing pretty good too). ;)
