That is so cool that he took it from simple strain gauges and a bread board circuit to a webserver !

if any of you guys would like the information on how he did it, let me know.
he has kept schematics and instructions the whole time.
it can do up to 5 kegs
we are still testing the RF through the fridge and it seems to be working OK

Forget the schematics.

I'd rather buy the finished product after you guys appear on an episode of Shark Tank.

Seriously . . . This is nothing like I've ever seen before, and would probably have a huge market in in the pub / restaurant business where they need to better manage the inventory of their taps.

I suggested to my Brotherinlaw to see if he could do a commercial to sell to homebrewers.
he thinks homebrewers wouldnt want to pay for something like this.
I told him if it can be done at a reasonable price they will buy it, a lot of the brewers are tech guys so this is right up their alley. plus any homebrewer wants to know how much beer is left in their kegs.

Id be interested in the schematics and/or buying a couple if you do decided to build/sell.   This is awesome!!  Im always lifting the kegs to see if i can guess how much is left.

Plus...who doesn't want some electronics to play with!
Keg 1: Pale Ale
Keg 2: Stout
Keg 3:
Bottled:  Christmas Ale
FV 1: Citra Amber Ale

Tell him to consider submitting the project to https://www.kickstarter.com/

My humble guess is that your BIL will ble blown away by what will then unfold.

If home brewers are willing to pay for pricey PH-meters, airlocks that measures SG and temp on the fly and hooks up to your WiFi, and 50 liter Speidel Brewmasters, they will pay for this.
Quote of BB:    I think I've passed that point where I'm no longer under the influence of alcohol. The alcohol is actually under my influence..

FV 1: USB Porter OG: 1.090
FV 2: Network Porter OG: 1.040

Tap 1: Solid IPA 7% ABV
Tap 2: BB's Ginger Brew 6,5
Keg 3 & 4: Clean Slate Saison 17

well my brotherinlaw did it!  I have been using 4 keg scales that tell me the weight and temp in the fridge. the software that he wrote can subtract the empty keg weight so my kegs weight 9lbs empty with the lines hooked up. so it has been working great!
no more guessing when im going to kick a keg :)
