let me know what you guys think.
we might have to reverse the MO amount to be the redx amount

heres one with MO and Redx reversed

17 Red

Original Gravity (OG): 1.060  (°P): 14.7
Final Gravity (FG):    1.014  (°P): 3.6
Alcohol (ABV):         6.05 %
Colour (SRM):          13.2   (EBC): 26.0
Bitterness (IBU):      29.2   (Tinseth)

47.06% Best Maltz Red X
39.22% United Kingdom - Maris Otter Pale
7.84%  German - CaraRed
5.88%  American - Rye

1.5 oz/Gal Fuggles (4.5% Alpha) @ 60 Minutes (Boil)
1.5 oz/Gal Kent Goldings (5% Alpha) @ 10 Minutes (Boil)

1/2 tablet Whirlfloc Tablet @ 15 Minutes (Boil)

Single step Infusion at 152°F for 60 Minutes. Boil for 60 Minutes

Fermented at 65°F with Nottingham Ale Yeast

my concern with those two recipes is the color.
I have never used Red X.  so those recipes probably need some help  :)

I have used red x a lot  and it gives a great deep red colour and   it turns out like a typical  kilkenny colour   .here's a beer with 95% red x
Coopers English bitter       coopers dark ale
Young's lager                    muntons wheat beer
aus pale ale                       sauv blanc white wine kit
canadian blonde               oaked rum ale
Mexican cerveza
youngs american  ipa
coopers heritage lager
California Connoisseur Barolo wine

i know this recipe kinda died out, but for those still wondering about it, I plan to order the Redx soon so I can brew this up. just got a lot of all grain kits i need to get brewed up. Northern Brewer runs some good deals. anyway once i get a keg opened up i will brew this up.
